Taliban Threaten Famous US-Pakistani Professor And Author Hassan Abbas
Hassan Abbas is Distinguished Professor of International Relations at the Near East South Asia Strategic Studies Center, National Defense University, in Washington, DC. He is the author of numerous books.
After publishing his most recent book "Return of the Taliban: Afghanistan after the Americans Left„“ in April/May 2023, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of the Taliban posted on twitter the statement of the Taliban concerning Abbas' new book. In it Mujahed also sent a threat (emboldened) to those challenging the Taliban:
"The Islamic Emirate Spokesperson's Clarification Regarding the Book Claim of an Intelligence Officer Named Hassan Abbas
An intelligence officer named Hassan Abbas wrote a book called (THE RETURN OF THE TALIBAN) in which he made baseless and far-fetched accusations against the officials of the Islamic Emirate. The book claims that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is not independent and it is under the control of the intelligence and military of another country.
This intelligence officer is not aware of the fact that the Islamic Emirate has a proud history of winning, maintaining and nurturing its independence, any rational person who wants to investigate the independence and freedom of the Islamic Emirate will easily and quickly come to the conclusion that this line and these officials are at the last limit of freedom and independence.
We believe that this person named Hassan Abbas is a mercenary hired by an intelligence agency who tried to defile sea with his own failed attempt.
Just as the Islamic Emirate has sacrificed so much to gain its independence and freedom, it is also ready to make sacrifices to preserve it, and will not involve its independence in any country or intelligence network at any cost.
Our countrymen are well aware of the officials of the Islamic Emirate intimately and have firm faith in them. Such intelligence conspiracies cannot disturb the mentality of our system and officials and fulfill their evil ambitions. Insha Allah."

The governments in the West have to take threats imposed by the Taliban against their opponents seriously. There are a bunch of pro-Taliban lobbyists living in the West who are willing to follow Taliban's orders. Some of them are pro-Taliban Afghan diaspora who are residents of Western countries for more than 20 years. But some of them are Taliban families who were flown out by the USA and other Western countries after the fall of Kabul to the Taliban until 31 August 2021.

There are various YouTube channels promoting terrosism and Taliban.
One of them is presented in the following description of those channels:
1) Jamil Qaderi. Jamil Qaderi is a Pashtun YouTuber who most probably resides in Belgium. Qaderi joins a number of young Pashtun Afghans, who live in the West and support the Taliban through the social channels. They are also called Taliban with neckties. On his YouTube channel Qaderi defames anti-Taliban groups and opposition members and advocates high-ranking Taliban members. Furthermore he relativizes the crimes and human rights abuses committed by the Taliban regime.
His YouTube channel @WatanDostanAfghanistan/featured is divided into two sub-channels on YouTube and one is called King of YouTube - امیرالیوتوبین. The Arabic term is translated as Emir of YouTube.
