Taliban's Female Captives in Afghanistan

Two days after the arrest of Parisa Azadeh, a protester and women's rights activist, by the Taliban, Amnesty International has expressed concern about this incident. This organization said in a statement on 17 October 2023 that it is deeply concerned about arbitrary arrests of human rights activists, especially women, by the Taliban.

The statement reads: "Amnesty International expresses concern over the arrest of Parisa Azadeh and other women's rights activists and opposition voices, including Manijeh Sadiqi, Julia Parsi, Neda Parwani, and Rasul Parsi, a university professor."

This organization has demanded the unconditional release of these women's rights activists. According to Amnesty International, the continuation of the Taliban's severe restrictions and the illegal suppression of the rights of women and girls can be a crime against humanity in the context of sexual harassment.

This organization also demanded that the Taliban must be held accountable for their "crimes" under international law. On 15 October 2023 the Taliban arrested Parisa Azadeh, a female protester from Kabul, and her fate is still unknown.

Meanwhile, some countries in the West, in particular the Netherlands and Germany, have hosted Taliban meetings in November 2023, despite the human rights abuses of this group:

Taliban Pashtun Terrorist Boss In Germany - Abdul Bari Omar In Cologne

Abdul Bari Omar, who is the head of the National Food and Drug Administration of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan and who visited Cologne, Germany, on 16 November 2023, stated during his propaganda speech in Cologne:

"In this system (of the Taliban), the leader (Emir) tells the minister that you are detached (from me), the minister goes to his house and is happy and tells the district governor that you are the minister. Everyone obeys the order of the Taliban leader (Emir)."

In his speech in the rooms of a DITIB mosque in the Cologne district of Chorweiler, Omar apparently campaigned for the Taliban government and warned, among other things, against "believing the media." He claimed that it would be better to "visit Afghanistan and make first-hand experience with the situation (there)." There are numerous videos of Omar's visit circulating on X.

Omar probably entered Germany via the Netherlands, where he took part in a conference of the Second World Local Production Forum in the Hague, which took place from November 6 to 8, 2023.

On Nov. 9, 2023, Omar posted a picture on X, where he is seen together with Dutch Health Minister Ernst Kuipers (on the left).

This kind of promotion of terrorism and organized crime seems to be a new level of escalation in Germany and Europe, as the Taliban regime is committing severe human rights abuses against Afghan women. Furthermore, they are involved in various other crimes and terrorism.

German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser also condemned the public appearance of Omar in Cologne as unacceptable in a statement on 18 November 2023.

But Omar responded on the same day on X: "I am still in Europe, and during this trip I have met with the Afghan brothers living in Holland, Belgium, Slovakia and Germany, as well as a number of Afghan ambassadors and diplomats."

On another note, also Jamil Qaderi, a pro-Taliban Pashtun YouTuber located in Belgium, attended the meeting in Germany and published a full live video of the speech of Omar on his YouTube channel (link posted below).

The video of Qaderi shows at least two Taliban members (judging by their clothing style) as can be seen in the pictures below:
